Our History
Latinvestco was founded in 1992 as an independent investment banking firm, with the mission of advising companies and organizations on strategic financial decisions in Colombia and the region. From its inception, the firm has focused on mid-market transactions and processes, combining rigorous financial analysis with close, hands-on advisory to entrepreneurs and shareholders.
Over more than three decades, Latinvestco has participated in mergers and acquisitions, financing, and financial advisory mandates across both the private sector and public-sector-linked initiatives. Its track record includes landmark transactions and financial structuring processes that have contributed to the development of key sectors of the Colombian economy and to the strengthening of its capital markets.
Today, Latinvestco is led by a second generation of partners and executives, with the continued active involvement of its founders. Since 2022, Nicolás Díaz has served as Managing Director and Daniela Reyna has joined as a partner of the firm. Under this leadership, Latinvestco continues to solidify its position as a strategic partner for mid-market companies and growth-oriented organizations, with a focus on value creation and long-term client relationships.
